- The "Pre-college" visa will be acquired if studying in a
Japanese language school.
The visa is valid for 1year and can be extended up once.
- Visa extension may not be granted for students with poor
attendancy and unsatisfactory academic grades.
- Students with 40periods or more absence from classes
without proper reasons will be expelled from the school.
Details for documents required to obtain a

- Students are expected to concentrate on the study of
Japanese and are advised to do preparations before attending classes.
- Students are required to take an evaluation test at hte end
of each semester.
- Students are advised to have study experience of
"Hiragana"and "Katakana" before coming to Japan.

To the Students Planning to enter a
Japanese University and a Specialized Vocational School

- It is essential that you have some backgrounds in the study
of Japanese before coming to Japan.
- For those who have not successfully completed twelve years
of formal education will not be permitted to take the entrance
examinations of universities of specialized vocational schools.
- In many cases, English or another foreign language is
required besides Japanese for the university entrance examination.
- At the time of the entrance examination, your high school
recored will be also taken into consideration.
- If you are admitted to a universtiy, you muse attend
regular classes with Japanese students. Most of the universities don't
have special courses for foreign students.
- Students must not engage in any activity other than that
permitted under their status of residence.
