The Aoyama school of Japanese was established in March 1976 with the
main purpose of teaching Japanese to foreigners living in Japan. The
School began by teaching practical daily conversations to foreigners
who were mainly European and American businessmen. By the year 2000,
the School has grown in size to 20 teachers and with 200 students from
17 countries throughout the world.
The Aoyama School of Japanese is not only a language school with
reputation among foreigners in Japan, but also a forum where students
are introduced to the Japanese culture, society and the uniqueness of
the Japanese people's way of thinking.
